This firehose of power is optimized to charge large 24V batteries FAST while ensuring a long battery lifespan. Designed for use by our bass fishing pro staff who need to charge quickly between tournaments, this 20A (amp) charger will charge a 24V 50Ah battery in <2.5 hours, and a 100Ah battery bank in <5 hours. Dakota Lithium has optimized this charger for use with our lithium iron phosphate batteries (LiFePO4 or LFP). Not recommended for charging lead acid or SLA batteries, it is too powerful. Built in a high tensile aluminum case for rapid cooling, this charger is rated at 20A and is an upgrade for those of you who need to charge fast and play hard. All Dakota Lithium batteries should be charged using a LiFePO4 compatible charger like this one. SLA chargers will reduce the performance of the battery.   Included Anderson plug with ring terminals for safe & easy charging. Simply plug the charger into the Anderson plug, and remove when done. Also compatible with all Connect-Ease trolling motor wiring kits (add on).

For 24 volt lithium batteries
We highly recommend you use a LiFePO4 compatible charger. 24v chargers for lead acid batteries may work, but will decrease performance and lifespan of the battery.

INPUT 100-240 volts, 50/60HZ. OUTPUT: 28.8 volts, 20.0 amps

Terminal Connections
Anderson SB 50 connections make it easy to connect your charger to the battery. Install the ring terminals using the bolts on your terminals. Bolt black to your black terminal. Red to your red terminal. Do not short circuit. Then connect the charger via the Anderson plug when you need to charge. Red light on the charger will turn on when charging. Light turns green when the battery is full.

Smart BMS communication
Charger will restart or "wake up" a Dakota Lithium BMS that has turned off a battery due to short circuit or excessive amp draw. Simply connect the charger to the battery to initiate a restart.

How fast will my battery charge?
Charges at a rate of 20 amps. To determine your charging speed take the amp hour rating of your battery and divide by 18. For example, a 36v 63 amp hour battery (Ah) would charge in 3.5 hours.

Can I charge my battery faster?
For most applications a charging time of 3 - 10 hours provides the longest lifespan for your battery. But if you have an application where you need rapid charging Dakota Lithium batteries can be safely charged in up to 1 hour (at a rate of 1C). For example, you could use a 8 amp charger with a 8 Ah battery for a 1 hour charge time. Charging at a 1 hour rate does reduce the lifespan over time. In our laboratory testing we found that the longest lifespan for Dakota Lithium batteries was at a charging speed of 0.3C or less (we recommend that the charger amp rating is 1/3 or less of the battery amp hour rating for longest lifespan).

What voltage should LiFePO4 batteries be charged at?
28.8 volts is recommended for 24V Dakota Lithium (LiFePO4) batteries. This charger charges at 28.8 volts.

From day one when I ordered a eahora romeo 2 2025 off grid lux has been in constant contact . From shipping the bike to after care I haven't had issues at all . They even called me to check on an issue I had and I actually spoke to a person , who was great by the way . Customer service has fallen to the big internet conglomerates but I didn't feel that way with the purchase , they have really tried to take care of me and answered every question I've asked , even ones that are stated on the site . I bought this battery to replace my battery that died in my Ecotric 20810 (the fat tire one from around 2019 timeframe). Went on a 2+ hour ride and still had plenty of juice to spare. Wish it was cheaper but....it's a big battery and that's the retail price I guess.

Ordered four inverters for a customer whose solar system was damaged by a utility surge. OffGridLux advertised these inverters at $2500. Upon ordering the inverters I was assured they were in stock and would be delivered. The next day I received a refund and the price of the inverters went up from $2500 to $3100 on the OffGridLux website. Chris in customer service explained the inverters were a new product and the $2500 price was added by mistake and the real price was $3100. He also told me his warehouse made a mistake they only had 2 of the 4 available. After expressing my frustration at the situation since the customer was already quoted the lower price, Chris worked out a deal and gave us the inverters at cost to OffGridLux for $2850 instead of $3100. Chris promptly adjusted the charge and made sure the 2 inverters were shipped out asap. As a small business owner I understand how small mistakes can be costly and sometimes the little things are the biggest problem. In good fashion Chris represented OffGridLux and my interests by communicating and figuring out an amicable solution for all parties involved. Thank you again Chris. You sir a true asset to your company.

Nice bike love the looks not as powerful as my pro 2 as one might expect but overall nice bike i did take it on a 47 mile trip and still had 50.1 percent left when i got home so no need to worry about a battery the best part of this bike is the company that sold it. I've been so impressed with this company which is why i purchased my 2nd bike from them they are nothing short of exceptional buy with confidence they are with your every step of the way and very fast to respond to emails and help with any problem ive come across i wish they sold other bikes just so i could buy from them off the grid lux is by far my favorite store keep it up guys I'll keep looking to see what you stock next
