I bought this battery to replace my battery that died in my Ecotric 20810 (the fat tire one from around 2019 timeframe). Went on a 2+ hour ride and still had plenty of juice to spare. Wish it was cheaper but....it's a big battery and that's the retail price I guess.
Ordered four inverters for a customer whose solar system was damaged by a utility surge. OffGridLux advertised these inverters at $2500. Upon ordering the inverters I was assured they were in stock and would be delivered. The next day I received a refund and the price of the inverters went up from $2500 to $3100 on the OffGridLux website. Chris in customer service explained the inverters were a new product and the $2500 price was added by mistake and the real price was $3100. He also told me his warehouse made a mistake they only had 2 of the 4 available. After expressing my frustration at the situation since the customer was already quoted the lower price, Chris worked out a deal and gave us the inverters at cost to OffGridLux for $2850 instead of $3100. Chris promptly adjusted the charge and made sure the 2 inverters were shipped out asap. As a small business owner I understand how small mistakes can be costly and sometimes the little things are the biggest problem. In good fashion Chris represented OffGridLux and my interests by communicating and figuring out an amicable solution for all parties involved. Thank you again Chris. I want to express that this is not a negative review on OffGrid Lux. They have been nothing but professional and their support is awesome!
This is a negative review on Rambo and the product itself. I purchased this bike about 2 weeks ago and have not even put the battery in yet. The chain tension/derailleur on the single speed model is as cheap as it gets. The original chain tensioner came bent and damage in shipping. I submitted a warranty claim, waited a week, and finally got the replacement part. Well, the replacement part broke before I even bolted it on. There is this "stop" pin that fell out with no effort. This stop pin is not welded and there is no glue. It just falls out???
At this point, I lost faith in the Rambo's chain tensioner and will most likely take it to a bike shop to see what other options I have. If this thing breaks this easily, what happens when I am 2 miles back in the woods and cant even pedal out?
For some reason you are not able to leave a review on Rambo's official website. Shocker! I cannot be the only one experiencing this issue. The manual is not catered to the single speed model so its basically useless. There is no specific information online that is for the single speed. I am just lost at this point.
I am hoping that everything else with the ebike is fine after I get this chain tensioner sorted out. Everything else seems high quality but we will see once I can finally test it.
